Paul studied physics at Oxford University and then trained as a chartered accountant
in London before working for an oil company in various countries.  He took his camera
with him and his interest in photography started. He has since lived and photographed in
several Asian and African locations as well as his native England.

Paul's passion for photography developed whilst living in Asia, focusing on portraits
of people in China and other parts of Asia. His work has achieved recognition in the UK
and China with awards from the Times Newspaper, Intrepid Travel and Shanghai Talk
Magazine, several covers for the Courier magazine, a travel feature on the Silk Road in
Marie Claire and an exhibition of Asian Portrait's at Shanghai's Four Seasons Hotel.

Paul has recently been based in London and Asia, photographing people, events, fashion
and trade shows.
